OTAB shipments
Of threads and books makes tracked and insured shipments to Italy, Europe, the United States and Canada.
Order processing times
All book and e-reader covers are sewn at the time of order. Please note that your order will be dispatched within 5 working days of receipt.
Shipping methods
Of threads and books uses UPS and PosteItaliane couriers with estimated delivery in 2 working days to Italy and 3 working days to the islands and European Union countries. For shipments to the United States and Canada, FedEx courier is used instead.
All shipments are tracked and insured: inside the shipment confirmation email you will find the tracking number to use to track your package.

Remember that shipments dates are estimated and any delay in the delivery of your package due to the courier is in no way attributable to Of threads and books.
Do you ship to the USA?
Yes, we ship to the United States with a tracked courier service.
Will I have to pay customs duties or additional fees when I receive my order?
Orders shipped to the USA may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged by local authorities or the shipping carrier.
These fees are not included in the order total and must be paid by the recipient.
Can you estimate how much the customs fees will be?
Unfortunately, no. These fees vary depending on the destination state and the total value of the package. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more details.
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes, we ship to Canada with tracked delivery.
Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes upon delivery?
Orders shipped to Canada may be subject to import taxes (such as GST, HST or PST), customs duties, and courier clearance fees.
These additional charges are not included in the order total and are the responsibility of the customer.
Can you estimate how much these fees will be?
Unfortunately, we cannot. Fees vary depending on the province and the declared value of the package. For more information, we recommend contacting the Canada Border Services Agency.
Gift options
You can request a gift option during checkout by writing it in the notes field! In this case, the recipient:
- Will receive a package that does not contain the purchase invoice
- The parcel will include a personalised card, if you wish, and the item(s) purchased will be wrapped.
If the parcel is lost
Parcels of threads and books are sent by tracked and insured courier. If your package is lost, you can contact me to arrange a new shipment at no cost to you.
